For the ultimate visitor experience what could be better than to visit the uniquely beautiful Portmeiron village this bank holiday weekend. In addition, celebrated chocolatiers, Beech’s Fine Chocolates, are contributing a collection of its best selling items to complete your enjoyment, as seen in image below. All you have to do to win one of these grand prizes is complete the form below before noon on Tuesday 20th May 2025. Both prizes include the free Portmeirion Family Day ticket and the collection of Beech’s chocolates.
Created by Welsh architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, Portmeirion Village was designed to show how a naturally beautiful site could be developed without spoiling it. Beginning in 1925, his grand vision took 50 years to complete as a tightly grouped coastal village with many attractions for visitors. Described as the Italian Riviera meets rural Wales, visitors can enjoy the riot of colour and architectural styles of the buildings around a central piazza, scenic surroundings, two hotels, historic cottages, gift shops, a spa and award winning restaurants.
Beech’s Fine Chocolates, similarly represent decades of perfection, in this case chocolate production, and are synonymous with British made premium confectionery products. 100 years and counting, still wholly family owned, and using traditional finishing methods, they have upgraded their recipes and processes, resulting in a smoother ‘burst’ of chocolate taste and prolonged enjoyment. As well as continuing to produce traditional lines, Beech’s have innovated to create new ranges, such as the beautifully presented truffles range included in these prizes.
